The same year that Gormley & Chipperfield’s sculpture was installed in 2008, Antony Gormley dessutom en ny skulpturinstallation, Standing Matter in the Norwegian architects Snøhetta’s pavilion Moderskeppet from the 2007 signature project, Kivik Start.
Since then, both works have found a new home – you can now see them in Lillehammer, Norway.

In 2008 Antony Gormley made an additional artwork inside The Mothership, Snøhettas piece from the previous year. Standing Matter depicts a standing figure, a typical Antony Gormley figure, made up of round, ball like shapes of different sizes. Both pieces have now found new homes – The Mothership is now found in Lillehammer, Norway. lillehammer.com >>
